Liz, Good informative list. The surprising thing is that these kind of posts are mostly the blog’s Flagship article. Daily Blog Tips also wrote a post by name “101 Blog Tips I learned In 2006″.

Hi Ram!
Great to see you! Yep! The good news is follow those two links to Mashable and you’ll find a pile more that are just as great.

Liz, Yes. Mashable are doing a great work with these kind of posts. My recent favorite from them is the 300+ WordPress plugins. Thnaks for linking to the good posts.

This is a great list. Thanks for compiling something like this!
It’s funny how blogs are so often undergoing “identity-confusion.” (Okay, so I am one of them, sometimes!)
This is sure to help!
Hope you are having a great weekend!

Hey Ram!
Thanks for noticing.

Hi Sylvia!
I guess we change more than we know from one to the next as people, and maybe since there is no permanent record folks don’t really notice it as much. Blogs leave a readable trail of history.
Thanks for asking . . . I’m getting a lot of stuff done this weekend. That’s a very good thing.

Hi Beena!
Welcome and you’re welcome.
Yes I know that blog. I’ve spent some time at all of them.

very interesting tips there but don’t you think that people don’t use blog directories anymore !!?? They just use search engines if they need anything.. I guess the problem is how to make your URl show up in google’s first page!!
ME Strauss said
Hi Casanova,
I’m not sure people use blog directories anymore — not in the ways that they once did. Yet I still get traffic from them. I still used them when I’m looking for blogs in targeted verticals, such as “business blogs.”
How many folks do that, I have no idea. . . . You have a really strong point there. I’m just not ready to say they’re dead yet.
