I would be tickled pink & have an ear to ear smile & say “THANK YOU!” … and I’d probably spend the next several days enjoying my tulip and thinking of some special way I could give that smile back to you in some way.

I would say, “Thank You!” then give you a big hug. :)

    Ah Sprite!
What a lovely thought that you’d be thinking how to give the smile back. :) That means you’ll be smiling for a while there. :)

    Tracy,
You’ve already given me lots. Thank you!
I’d like to collect on the hug. though.

I would thank you and then I would hand the rose to to my wife and say “In the magical universe there are no coincidences and there are no accidents. Nothing happens unless someone wills it to happen.”

Tongue firmly in cheek: brought a souvenir from The Netherlands with you for me? You must have known it is my favourite flavour and one I’m dearly missing here in the UK ;-)

Oops, please read “favourite flower” not flavour

(don’t want you to think I’m so old I remember eating tulips in the last winter of WW2)

    Hi Dape!
Oh nice that you’d pass the gift on to your wife! What a lucky woman she is to have giving friend like you.

Thank you for sharing yourself with us!

    Hi Karin,
Tulips are special flowers indeed. Among my favorites too! Must have something to do with why I like you. :)

I would feel lucky to have a thoughtful friend like you. I would find my heart a bit more open to everything that day, especially you. And I’d say thank you.
