Change the World: Make Something Happen

ME Liz Strauss wrote this at 5:51 am

It’s Really Happening

Change the World!

You know it was the power of many people who made the SOBCon even come together. It was the risk of a few, but the energy of so many. Lots of folks make an investment to be here because they sensed the difference. Last night they saw it in each other’s faces.

How increidible, the intelligence, the spark, the respect. When open comment night came it was no stand and tell us who you are. It was you’re on Oprah, talk to us, we want to know you.

Later when it was time to tell a Gorgeous nonblogging, blog reader, a blog tip or two, the tips came from the heart, folks wanted everyone to know.

it was the best of friends, the best of education, the best of kids playing in the back yard with imagination.

Imgaine if every person you worked wth could be from a relationship like that?

Business and reloationships belong together.

We can change the world — just like that.

Warm, inspiring, funny, intelligent would some of the adjectives I would describe this event.

There’s a lesson to be learnt here by all of us. One person’s passion (Liz) and the fact that she initiated caused something wonderful to happen. Truly, a meeting of many minds and hearts. Look forward to the rest of the day.

    Thanks Liz

    Liz,

I’m so happy for you. Congratulations on getting such a group of bloggers together. I wish I were there but hopefully next time. I can’t wait to see what comes out of all the sessions today on people’s blogs. I know I will be inspired.

I write this from bed on my laptop. I’m so grateful to modern technology that I can still follow what is happening even though I am not feeling well.

Liz, I am feeling better. Thank you. I noticed that ther is another blogging conference in Chicago, Blogher, at the end of July. I have a airline ticket still to use so I may try to make it to that one.

Congratulations on a successful conference! I read Eastons brain dump of the conference and it felt like I was there.

Hi Liz, sometimes I’ll eat before hitting the computer but the whole time change thing really got to me… yeah, only 2 hours difference but…

You had to walk by my room on the way to the elevator, you could have brought me breakfast before I woke up ;)

How could I not thank you personally for this comment. Of course, you know this event took so many more people than me to make it happen. We were all together in it — you included. It was an honor to work with every one of you.
