Content:Alexander Kjerulf has done the research. In companies that shortened the work week from 40 to 30 hours NO productivity was lost. Doesn’t surprise me. How about you? Want the details? Click the title shot below to get the facts.

When stationed in Germany while serving in the U.S Army - I found it quite frustrating doing business withe German Nationals at the time - There hours were so reduced than that of the United States it was hit and miss when arriving at a business you never knew if they would be open or not. Long lunch hours - closing two or three times a day - Acutally locking the door and leaving a retail store for a break.

But, if you are from there you knew the business hours of all the local shops and it was not a probelm. Just for the “Accidental Soilder” stationed near a small German town.

My wife was allowed to shorten her workday by foregoing lunch at her company and that enables her to beat the horrible Houston, Texas rush hour / traffic jams that we have here..

    Great find…
