Hi Liz, I’ve been busy since yesterday and this is the first chance I’ve had today to stop by. And this is the perfect post for the focus of my weekend!! It’s almost as if you knew …
I’m moving into a new template — in fact, I’m not even completely unpacked. But I just nearly totalled the thing with a stupid mistake (it was saved by the excellence of the WP support forums), so I’m taking a break for a few minutes.
This is a great link — thanks for sharing it!

I’ve tried to stay off the computer this weekend but am so glad I came to your blog, Liz, to find this post.
After skimming the tactics, I’m looking forward to exploring each this coming week. Looks like there’s more work to add to my productivity agenda.

Some really good advise in that link Liz.
After reading through the 21 tactics listed, I’m happy to report that I’m already doing a lot of what is mentioned and a few things that are not.
Yep, I just dropped a hint, possibly linkbait
that in the next day or so, I will post a few bonus tips that will help your page ranking with the almighty powerful google, yahoo and others.

Liz, Thanks for taking a look — I’ve got some cleaning to do before it’s ready for the grand opening. But I think that already it takes care of a lot of the issues that were so irritating about my version of the old template.
Now, back to cleaning up some of those weird sidebar issues!

Hey SeanRox
What lovely news to hear from you! We’ll be paying attention to your blog — not that we aren’t already. Got to keep our eye on the next James Bond when he talks.

katiebird’s new theme looks fabulous, it looks like it was designed for J4T

Hi Techz,
I agree with you. I think her theme is perfect for her content and her adjustment to it work really well to bring the nuances of what she’s doing. There’s one SOB who’s making the best of a premade template. Yea for Katie and Yea for you because you noticed!

Good Morning,
TechZ (blushing) & Liz (still blushing) — Thank you both so much. It was an incredible challenge to move into it in a day the way I did. But it’s a real relief to have it done.
Liz, I’ve decided that it’ll always be premade templates for me. While I could learn the details of coding a WP theme, that’s not really what I like about blogging. I’m into it for the communication challenges (and the nutrition support
) Even though I’m a programmer by profession, it’s a distraction to my main goal in ‘this life.’
With my limited knowledge of the WP codex, it would take me forever to create anything as sophisticated as the simplest template out there. So I’m perfectly happy browsing the public template offerings and picking whatever is closest to my needs that day.
Liz — It will take me all week to catch up on all the posting you’ve done this weekend. I guess since generally I’m peaking in every couple of hours it’s not such a challenge. Today? I’m wishing I could stay home just to catch up.
Not that I’m complaining — this is great!
