It’s about Blogging and Relationships
ME Liz Strauss wrote this at 5:57 am
Glad We Met . . .
I get to talk to people I like who live all over the world. We have important thoughts, and we share them in real time on my blog. We laugh a lot. We don’t comment. We talk.
What is cooler than that?

I like it Liz - we don’t comment, we talk.
I haven’t been offline most of this week so I’ve got lots of catching up to do - #1 is to read your posts, then it pretty much goes downhill from there. :-)

Hey Martin,
Thank you. Have some nachos.
How was the house move? All settled?
I see you’re back to the old blog termplate again with the Blog Columnist — threw for a minute, I thought I had been having a schizophrenic episode or hanging out on too many IMs with DK.

House Move? Settled? I WISH!!!
The old template is back, though I plan some spit n’ polish on it.
Maybe you were having an episode - read my About Me page and you’ll surely have an episode. (ie: I either wrecked my online reputation or am moving to the really real me) ;-)
I’ve never had the pleasure of an IM session with DK - but I see he’s doing his best working nine to one … he might have something there.

Martin,
Wasn’t that what you said you were doing moving? When you emailed the other day? What were you moving? Blogs? Offices?
I love the 9o1 blog. He’s doing good thinking there!

Liz,
Thanks for stating so clearly what blogging is all about. Sure, there’s terrific information shared and a lot to learn from a lot of bloggers. But what makes it worthwhile are the relationships built through the conversation.
It never dawned on me when I started blogging that I’d make new friends as a result. I was doing a consulting engagement in France and voila! One of my blog readers introduced herself. Talk about an icebreaker.
Keep the conversation going!

Hi Steve,
Welcome! If we surround ourselves with positive, people we make more positive things in the world.
I know exactly what you mean about the surprise of finding out about the people and blogging. I’m still surprised when I look back. It makes us sound a lot like evangelists. But how can you not be excited when there are so many exciting and inspiring people around sharing idea and swapping thoughts. It’s amazing exprience — heady and wonderful!
