Open Mic 7pm Chgo Time — Things You Gotta See!!!
ME Liz Strauss wrote this at 1:49 pm
You Gotta See This!!!
YES, the mic will be open again tonight. So start collecting your thoughts. Remember, you get to bring what you want to talk about.
The rules are simple — be nice.
There are always first timers and new things to talk about. It’s sort of half “Cheers” part “Friends” and part video game. You don’t know how much fun it is until you try it.
Tonight we’re talking about things you gotta see!
We might also talk about
- a rainbow in the shape of a circle
- the glacier in Alaska
- St. Elmo’s Fire in Australia
- the Alps, the Rockies, the Amazon
AND THE EVER POPULAR,
Basil the code-writing donkey, and Milton the Moose.
It’s like any rambling conversation. Don’t try to read it all. Jump in whenever you get here. Just go to the end and start talking. EVERYONE is WELCOME.

Hey Liz,
I hope you don’t mind, I took your suggestion on the earlier post (and even borrowed 2 of your questions) today.
I linked to the main url, not the direct uri, hope that’s OK.
As far as tonight, I will be there with Bells on. Liberty Bell, that is.

TechZ said
As always though, I can’t make it, probably be asleep at the time.
Hope you guys and gals have a fun time
ME Strauss said
Steve,
I’m sorry to hear that your back is in pain. I hope it’s not anything serious.
ME Strauss said
TechZ,
I wish you could be with us. We’ll be thinking of you . . .

Ok that will be 11PM my time. I live close geography wise to the Rockies, have not seen a circular rainbow but at night.
I’ve bitten my fear. I’m happy to be here. See you later when the symphony begins.
ME Strauss said
Jessica,
I think you’re doing what I do and going the wrong way with the clock. Wouldn’t it be 5pm mountain time if it is 7pm in Chicago?
The Zero Boss said
6pm mountain time, 5pm Pacific time, since Chicago is central.
ME Strauss said
You’re right, so right. Good thing I started by saying I get the clock wrong. . .
And to think they once though I was some sort of math genius. HA! Guess I showed them.
I know Hong Kong is 12 hours.
