Jonathan Field’s blog heads straight to the headlines.
From my experience getting into local media, I knew I needed a hook. But, this time, I needed one with national appeal. Something that could not only take my business to the next level, but be genuine news on a national level. And, then it happened.
PR2.0 digs into content versus conversation.
If you took the time, whether as a reader or a writer, to read the comments of a favorite blog post for example, you’d find brilliance, perspective, and new opinions that allow a topic to genuinely flourish.
Christine Kane’s Blog considers how drastic change needs to be.
One of them left her husband. The other one quit her Grad School program and was preparing to enroll in an entirely different course of study.
Creative Curio documents her process.
Designers are always interested in another designer’s creative process. So from now until it’s finished, I’ll document my progress on my blog design on Fridays, show you my files and ask for your critiques.
Performancing interviews Jonathan Phillips.

ChrisBrogan.com has five starter moves.
On one hand, you have people who are a little shy, and unsure what to say upon meeting someone for the first time. On the other, you have people who aren’t especially shy, but who don’t like meeting someone cold. Social media tools are perfect for this.

I’m really torn between favoring Chris Brogan’s or Jonathan Fields’ articles- both have specific nuggets of advice that are applicable to my current goals.
Liz, as always- thanks for introducing me (and probably others) to blogs I’ve never read before. TGIF!!!

I’m flattered that you linked me Liz, though I’m not entirely sure whether or not mine is worthy enough to rank among those that do inspire something thoughtful. Especially not points that I have yet to delve deeper. :)
Love the other links though.

Hi Everyone!
Still a little sickly here in the Strauss household, but I’m sure thinking of all of you! Gosh, thanks for coming to the cafe today!
LaurenMarie!
I sure enjoyed looking at where you are so far! You sure know what you’re doing! I hope lots of folks are reading.
Lani!
Thank you, for paying attention to the folks on the menu today. You’re a special one to point out favorites one that way! All of your meals on the house!
Edrei!
I included what you wrote because it made me think. I like things that do that and so do the folks who come here. Don’t discount my reasons for choosing. :)
Ah Todd!
I’m so enjoying our friendship and your visits! You’re a wonder!

ooooh!!! “on the house” is my favorite price!
I should also point out that Chris Brogan’s article would have been a great link for this week’s Open Mic!!!

Here you go! Some fabulous tacos from the kitchen!
Yeah, that’s part of the reason I included Chris’s article this week. :)

Liz,
I’m dropping by to say hi at the suggestion of BJ over at Kickass Web Design. She just built my new website based on a WordPress blog.
I’ve found that it’s helped immensely to coordinate everything. Before I had a Live Journal, a web site, and then had to keep up with my writing AND contributions to a group blog, http://www.storytellersunplugged.com — it was crazy.
I am trying to attract new readership for my writing - and I have had some success blogging in the past, but it’s been too disjointed and without focus. I can see there’s going to be a lot of reading to do here to catch up …
