Technorati Still Wonky

ME Liz Strauss wrote this at 10:52 am

It had to be this way on the day I get a link from a hero.

I can’t tell you about it because I’m saving it for a cool road rally thing for this weekend. That is if David Sifry and Janice Myint can get Technorati fixed by then.

If I lose this link, I will be very sad. I like heroes.

Yep, had trouble this evening trying to claim a blog – same problem as before: waiting for “Technorati goodness”.

I waited and waited and finally gave up after 1 hour. when I came back to it 2 hours later it seems to be claimed.

I stopped the claim yet it still seemed to get through in the background.

Hi Liz! Sorry about the wonkiness! I’ll check on your link counts right now.

    Yes, Martin,
I think Wonky has been the word for about a week now. The green bubbles that carry info don’t carry anything when I mouseover them even now.

    Hi Janice,
Thanks for taking a look. It’s been wonky for a while now. I shouldn’t be losing leaks at the rate that I’m gaining them. That’s not how I learned my math anyway. :)

Dear Janice Myint and David Sifry:

    1270 links to keeps changing
    1196 links to
    1157 links to

    Under description:
    . . . 3,761 (1,238 links from 356 sites)
    The archives log is wonky.
At first it wouldn’t show any links past page 60. So I go back a few pages to 55 and go forward again. Then it wouldn’t show any link after day 37 until it page 61 when it jumps from day 37 to day 186. 49 days in the middle were missing.

How can the link count be correct when the archives are this wonky?

The green icons with the descriptions still aren’t hot linked.

Technorati Rank: 3,537 (1,284 links from 377 sites)
Chronology is still screwed up in the archives at around page 51
After page 51 it just repeats the same thing over and over.
