I sent an email to Janice Myint at Technorati just now. It said thank you for a great start–more movement in 5 minutes than happened in five months. It also said she has the voice of Successful Blog if she needs it.

STANDING OVATION FOR JANICE MYINT!

It’s obvious why they hired you at Technorati, Janice. You like customers–and now we like you too.
It’s a class act that brought you out here to the boondocks twice to reply to our posts. Thank you, Janice, for knowing what Customer Service is about.

Please don’t give up when things get really tough–because they’re going to–stuff up there is really messy. Know that you can hide out here, if you need to and that we’ll help you if we can.

    You know Liz, you smarty – by writing that you’re “Still dying to say something about how it took a woman…” you’re actually saying it :-)

    You know the trend in Australia by big corporations over recent years? Get women as media communications officers – especially within banks (we Aussies just love to bash the banks) – so when there is a bad pr day out comes the woman to speak to the media.

    Is it because it’s a softer image – nobody wants to pick on woman etc., whereas the corporate male is seen as a greedy pig whom you wouldn;t trust …

    Of course I know that I’m saying it Martin. :) I’m just not actually saying WHAT. It’s kind of like saying that’s a really good example of what it is. . . .

    Or maybe woman just know how to get things done. :)

    good to see them communicating this way. Well done Janice!

    I often wondered why a company based on blogging seemed so inactive in comments sections of blogs when they were being talked about – hopefully this is a sign of things to come :-)

    Wonder if Janice might like to pop by my posts on the similar topics to yours Liz.
