    Hey Steve,
I couldn’t make you wait. You’re too much part of the family. Besides Milton came and slipped me a $50. :)

Where did Milton get that I wonder? Hey where did my wallet go…?

Gee, I asked Milton the same question. He said something about winning an email lottery.

    Great group of SOB’s.

I was doing my weekly search of the web for links about Imus so I could post my weekly roundup. I found my first instance of blatant plagiarism. This blogger took the first paragraph of one of my posts and made a complete post out of it. Barely changing even a word. I have taken some screenshots (with Cropper) and sent some emails. I know Lorelle had a post about this subject during the week. But you never expect it to be so blatant.

    Hi Big Roy,
It stinks! I’m sorry. Email me if the blogger doesn’t respond appropriately.

Liz - Week 51? Does that mean next week marks the completion of the first full year of SOB’s??? What a landmark.

    We should have a party.

    Congratulations to all!

An update, the offending blogger corrected the problem and apologized. It makes you wonder how much this kind of stuff is going on. Not from scrapers, spam sites, and professionals, but just regular bloggers.

I know an SOB would never do it.

Thanks for the offer to help Liz.

    Hi Roy!
Thanks for the update. I’m glad that the offender backed down and apologized. It does make you wonder . . . Where were these guys 5th grade teachers? Meanwhile, I smile to think that no SOB would do that.

[...] Big thanks to Liz Strauss for naming The Zero Boss a Successful Blog SOB. I’ve always known that I’m an SOB, sure - but it’s nice to have a spiffy graphic to validate it. And thanks to all of YOU for your links, contributions, and material support. I hope you’re all having as much fun reading this blog as I am writing it, because I’m having a motherfuckin’ grand ol’ time. [...]
