Thanks to Week 64 SOBs
ME Liz Strauss wrote this at 2:03 pm
Let me introduce the bloggers
who have earned this official badge of achievement,
Successful Blog SOBs.
I invite them to take a badge home to display on their blogs.
They take the conversation to their readers,
contribute great ideas, challenge us, make us better, and make our businesses stronger.
I thank all of our SOBs for thinking what we say is worth passing on.
Good conversation shared can only improve the blogging community.
Should anyone question this SOB button’s validity, send him or her to me. Thie award carries a “Liz said so” guarantee, is endorsed by Kings of the Hemispheres, Martin and Michael, and is backed by my brothers, Angelo and Pasquale.
Want to become an SOB?
If you’re an SO-Wanna-B, you can see the whole list of SOBs and learn how to be one by visiting the SOB Hall of Fame– A-Z Directory . Click the link or visit the What IS an SOB?! page in the sidebar.

Again, ALL good Liz!
Not to exclude the others, but for me, I NEED http://www.bizplanhacks.com and edge.org and monetaryweb.com!
Thanks Liz.
And welcome to the SOB’s everyone!

Hi Cat!
I was looking for a unique selection this weerk. I think I got one!
cat said
Liz, you sure do! It’s a great roundup.
I knew about edge but had forgotten. It’s a class act. I could disappear for weeks into that site. Pity they don’t have a feed (but I did sign up for an email alert). Amazing thoughts, amazing minds, all joining in. I like.
Black in Business is another great read. I came across him on MyBlogLogs and he has good stuff to offer.
Psst - and you are the best for bringing them all to us. I feel like the monster plant going “feeeeeeeeeeeeeeed me!”

Hey Cat!
There are some great ones here. This was my first discovery of Edge! Whoa!
I try to do it in manageable chunks for you and for me . . .
cat said
“Edge! Whoa!”
I KNOW! Like I need another great site to read? But, I do. I NEED edge. I need the opposing opinions, the thoughts that make my mind go ‘OH!’
I’ll just have to read faster. Or sleep less. Yeah, I can do that.
ME Strauss said
Sleep less?? You don’t sleep to start with.
cat said
You know me so well
I have rules in place though - If I’m supposed to be sleeping, no internet, no computer and certainly none of those fantastic blogs.
So I’ll have to make another rule - less sleep alotted so I can read some of those fantastic blogs.
At least edge has an email alert. I can stick it away for my ‘on’ time. so I can still be good by being a little bit bad.

(says cat to Liz, who doesn’t sleep much either … or doesn’t seem to … or responds to posts in her sleep at what seems like ungodly hours at all hours)
ME Strauss said
*Liz isn’t really a person. She lives inside your computer.*

… and sometimes in my head.
Yup, I have this really deep voice in my head
ME Strauss said
Oh, oh, oh, I”m sorry. I’ll try to keep it down some.
cat said
Uh, huh. So now I’ll hear a low, silky, sexy voice whispering in my head?
ME Strauss said
Uh, maybe I’ll just cough every now and then so that you know that something awful hasn’t befallen me.
cat said
Coughing is good. Strange, but good. When they commit me I’ll be sure to explain the reasoning!
ME Strauss said
Let’s see. . . . if they commit you, and they do drug therapy. Does that mean I’ll get high too?
Imagine the posts I’ll write THEN!!!
cat said
“Imagine the posts!”
LOL! Life could get pretty strange for awhile!

Liz, how was your holiday, I felt gulity because, I went to the Bulls game in the afternoon, and then sat in a bar with another black businessman. I think Dr. King would have had higher expectations for me and Emile on his day of honor. Being mentioned by you as a successful blog would be more to his liking. Thank you, I am still learning but you are a great role model
ME Strauss said
Jim,
Are you kidding? What are you thinking? Martin Luther King didn’t think himself some sort of saint, did he?
He would have looked the two of you and thought how cool it is that you’re sitting in a bar as people in business suits — who could sit on any stool in that bar, who could buy any ticket at that game that they had earned from the professional jobs that they have. He would have found that a reason to have a drink with a friend!!!
Think of the where the world was in his time. Think of where you are now. You were living a glimpse of his dream — maybe not every bit of it — but sure more than he’d ever seen. What better way to honor his name?

[...] A Successful Outstanding Blogger, that is. Liz Strauss at Successful Blog called me out for being an SOB. I’ve never been so proud to use the term, let alone be labelled one. I’m among some very cool bloggers to have this designation: Instigator Blog, Black in Business, Starbucker, Chief Happiness Officer, Neat Living, and Shards of Consciousness, to name just a few. [...]
