Thanks to Week 71 SOBs
Liz published this at 2:29 pm
Let me introduce the bloggers
who have earned this official badge of achievement,
Successful Blog SOBs.
I invite them to take a badge home to display on their blogs.
They take the conversation to their readers,
contribute great ideas, challenge us, make us better, and make our businesses stronger.
I thank every one of our SOBs for thinking what we say is worth passing on.
Good conversation shared can only improve the blogging community.
Should anyone question this SOB button’s validity, send him or her directly to me. This award comes with a full “Liz said so” guarantee. It is endorsed by Kings of the Hemispheres, Martin and Michael, and backed by my brothers, Angelo and Pasquale.
Want to become an SOB?
If you’re an SO-Wanna-B, you can see the whole list of SOBs and learn how to be one by visiting the SOB Hall of Fame. Click the link or visit the What IS an SOB?! page in the sidebar.

Mahalo nui loa Liz (thank you very much) this is quite an honor, to be thought of as someone who shares conversation to improve the blogging community. Pretty cool to be recognized for something that is so much fun to do! Start blogging and you never look back… feels so great to be in the arms of an online community that is smart, witty, open, and engaging, sharing their aloha so naturally and so freely, and you Liz, are mea ho’okipa, one of the most generous hostesses there are!
Aloha kaua e, mahalo nui,
Rosa

Ah Karin!
If you didn’t know what you were doing, you wouldn’t be in this situation.
Karin said
So you’re blaming me!
Just kidding, am specially honoured to be named in the same list with Glenda
ME Strauss said
Collin,
I was so delighted with your blog when I discovered it. I love everything your blog stands for. You’re welcome, Collin.
You’re not a stranger anymore.
ME Strauss said
Hi Karin!
You bet I’m blaming you — well, actually while I was typing that comment I was thinking that, if only she didn’t have that mentor, she wouldn’t find herself in situations like this.
Karin said
He’s great, isn’t he?

(and you’re just plain jealous
Writing a post (well, more a post about his company) at the moment.
But anyway Liz, thanks for the blame eh, honour

Why Karin! [Liz said in her Scarletr O'Hara voice]
I’m sure I don’t know what you’re speaking of. I only have the most sincere admiration for the bountiful wisdom your mentor rains upon you like flowers in the springtime, while I toil and wander in the dirt.
Karin said
thinking out loud: should I do my Red Butler now?, Frankly, my dear.., better not
I’ll send you some of his flowers, o.k.? Or rain drops, you choose.

Oh Liz, now I’m stuck with that song in my head!
(which is fine for a rainy Sunday afternoon here in Kent U.K.)
ME Strauss said
That’s the downside of having a great mentor. You see that don’t you?
Karin said
Eh, no
ME Strauss said
Well, said mentor led to the discusion of movies, which led to the mention of the song that got stuck in your head.
So see if you had no mentor . . . the song wouldn’t be there. It’s logic.
Karin said
Elementary, my dear Watson
ME Strauss said
Exactly!

ME Strauss said
Hi Hans!
I talked to David on Skype. He’s officially 13 now! So no worries.
David Wilkinson said
Haha…
Yes. It had to come around. I am indeed 13! Thanks for the blog comment Hans!
ME Strauss said
Hey David!
Great to see you! Welcome to the family!
I hope lots of folks here take the time to follow you home to see what a 13-year-old blogger can do to make an outstanding blog.

Liz, Thank you for the SOB award.
In Holland this award is not well known I guess (yet!).
Maybe the post about this award on my blog will change SOB awareness in Holland a bit.
ME Strauss said
Fred,
I laugh to think I should give an awared for raising SOB awareness!! Welcome to the blog and the family. You’re not a stranger anymore.

I can read everything on his blog too, being Dutch and all
ME Strauss said
Karin,
First the mentor. Now Fred. I feel so like a pair of wet dirty old socks.
Karin said
Ah, poor Liz
Next thing we know you’ll start sobbing and we really can’t have that.
ME Strauss said
It’s okay. Wet socks are wet already, and SOB is a common thing around here.
