VOICES

Voices happy as a cloud,
Voices somber as a shroud.
Voices certain, voices pondering,
Voices clear and voices wandering.

Voices twinkling with curiosity,
Voices blazing with ferocity.
Some are skies of rolling thunder,
Others wheat fields of gentle wonder .

We enter this place from everywhere,
To learn, to laugh, to help, to share.
So beautifully our voices intertwine
In textured conversation of every kind.

My heart rejoices amidst this
Tapestry of voices!
Weaving itself of countless threads,
An ever growing magic carpet overhead.
