We Were Conspiring: Now Chris Is Writing at Successful Blog!

ME Liz Strauss wrote this at 4:15 pm

Welcome Chris!

Today, I am delighted to announce that a friend, a great guy, and someone we all know is a bigger part of Successful Blog. Chris Cree now is a contributor with a column that expands and enhances what’s already happening here. Chris will be talking about ideas too. He’s got some plans that are definitely what we define as cool.

I thought it was time for a male voice and another point of view. Chris, being Chris, didn’t waste one breath agreeing with me.

Don’t think I didn’t notice that Chris’s lack of disagreement. It’s what convinced me the idea would work out perfectly.

You’ll know when it’s Chris, the one who makes sense, when you see his name in the byline. Oh yeah and of course, there will be that great big series button. Click this one — Like the clever title? — to take you to his first post.

This is only the first cool thing for Successful-Blog 2007!! Keep an eye out for the rest of our Blue Ocean Strategy.

Welcome, Chris! It’s nice to have you!

Definitely keep the byline at the top of the post. The one bad point of the otherwise fantastic “Creating Passionate Users” blog is that it gets confusing with multiple authors if you don’t see it until the end of the article.

    Candice,
    I agree with you completely.
I think that you can’t have enough visual clues about who is talking to you. Thanks for the reminder. :)

Yes, we had fun figuring out exactly what Chris’ role might be. I think it will be even more fun watching it take shape and grow!

Thanks Phil and Rick. My challenge is to keep things as interactive and “nice” as the mistress of the blog does. :)

I KNEW that could’ve sounded wrong after I posted it. :)

Liz, I’ve been reading since the beginning, and you are the reason. Adding Chris just makes an awesome place even better.

    Tony,
I was teasing. I know that you only meant that in the best way. That mutual admiration thing we have is no secret. :)

I had to laugh, Tony. Liz and I talked just this morning about how easy it can be to misconstrue the intent of the written word because it leaves out all that non-verbal stuff we put into communication. It’s a good thing we’ve got emoticons!

Chris, quit showing off your emoticon fluency.

I just especially like the one with a little motion (for my emotion).
