In our increasingly self absorbed, instant gratification, microwave, victimhood, no consequences society it seems there is an ever growing number of folks who are in for a shocker whenever whatever branch of science actually does discover the center of the universe.

Since I’ve got it so much together I thought I’d share a partial list of folks who are especially in danger of this disappointment. If you are any of these people you might want to consider your “Me-centric” view of the universe.

    I feel you…I blame this philosophy on the “It’s All About Me” mentality…how sad that we have become a society that is so ME centered than others centered.

    Hi Griffin, until Chris gets here, I’m with you. I wrote about this same thing not too long ago on my writing blog. Being the center of the universe Is the person who

    Is in customer service, but doesn’t hear the customer

    knows that his or her problems are more and important that yours

    Undterstands that his or her point of view is the only one

    sees what needs doing, wonders hy you aren’t getting it done.

    I wrote about the occasional time I get this way on my writing blog a couple of weeks ago

    Griffin, That’s why as I was writing this I had to add the last one. I suppose there are some folks who aren’t susceptible to this trap. They just don’t happen to be me! :)

    Chris! I’m all for science, but when it comes to choosing, I guess I’m perfect proof of your post right here. . . . I would choose sleeping. Catch some rest when you can. :)

    I did. But it was in bits and pieces, sorta like you tend to. But mine wasn’t planned out very well.

    I remember from the Borne Identity spy novel series where the main character kept saying, “sleep is a weapon” because we can’t function nearly so well without it.
