    Word of mouth or referral marketing can be extremely powerful. It is always much easier to make a sale if you were referred to that person by one of his trusted friends who you have an excellent business relationship with. Very powerful tool and I know several companies that strictly focus on that for their sales department.

    I agree, Kurt. Word of mouth won’t work if what you have to offer is substandard. As much as anyone loves you, they won’t feel good about telling their friends about your products. :)
