Are YOU in on the Link Leak Project

What’s Your Idea
The only way that we can own our part of the Magic Middle is to link together.
Remember the post Link Love Raises Your Property Value? Easton Ellsworth invented a Link Love Event called Blogtipping the very next week–the blogosphere was starting to share links. It was so cool. It was made a monthly thing.
Mike Sigers named this phenomena Link Leak.
What Is Link Leak?
Mike Sigers wrote a post explaining Link Leak. He said it was for Martin Neumann at the Small Office Herald, who then named it the Link Leak Project.
Shortly thereafter, Mr. Sigers’ own blog started springing leak after leak.
How Will You Be Leaking Links?
Successful Blog has been leaking links to SOBs since I’ve been here.
Business Blogwire is Leaking Blogtipping Links.
Simplenomics is Simply Leaking Links. Stop over there and tell Mike what your part will be in the Link Leak project. Then come back and leave a comment here to tell me.
Who knows maybe you’ll make the front page of the Small Office Herald. It surely would make you look like an SOB.

Blogtipping Makes Cowtipping a Thing of the Past

Since Easton Ellsworth of BusinessBlogwire got the great idea of starting a Blogtipping Tradition. The Magic Middle Links have started flying and the power is growing. Kids all over the Midwest have given up cowtipping and cows are giving more milk. Farmers are grateful. A parade is in the planning stages.
In attendance were the many players who jumped on the Blogtipping bandwagon. You should go see them.
- Liz Thompsonstarted off on the cow bell in honor of the earlier tradition.
- Mike Barlow did the one-man band thing.
- Martin Neumann sang a solo in three part harmony.
- Mike Samsone chose jazz scat as his entertainment to keep with his converstations theme.
- Phil Gerbyshak joined the choir.
- Tom Vander Well showed up with 76 trombones.
- Greg Balanko-Dickson sang a capella to a reggae beat.
- Joseph Thornley
made certain we were all musically in tune.- Chris Clarke got us going with a blogtipping rap.
- Mike Sigers of Simplenomics fame did a fabulous drum solo with his band LInk Lead and the Reader Hoarders.
- Liz Strauss played the angelic harp, of course, because she’s the nice one.

Link Love Costs Nothing
Easton Ellsworth at Blogwire declared today official Blogtipping Day and I’m in. How about you? As
the song goes “Give a little bit . . .” Here’s how it works.- Choose three or more bloggers you admire and link to them,
- List three reasons why you admire each one.
- Then add a tip at the end.
That’s all there is to it.
Janice Myint
- Janice is the best at her job. She knows what she’s doing.
- Every email and message is filled with smiles and energy. I feel like a valued customer every time she talks to me.
- She takes on big complaints as personal quest, and tackles them like a warrior.
Tip: Janice, be careful. The whole blogosphere is going to be proposing marriage to you, and trying to steal you away.
Jeremy Wright
- Jeremy’s a great guy with a heart as big as the world.
- He works hard, doing thousands of things, but never loses his humanity.
- He makes things happen for other people and asks nothing in return.
Tip: Jeremy, don’t wear yourself out. We need you just as you are.
Brian Clark
- Brian teaches me more about writing every time I read his blog.
- He has been a friend to me beyond the call of duty.
- I feel lucky to have him in my address book.
Tip: Brian, stop, breathe and look at what you’ve built. It’s fabulous.
That was fun. I hope I get time to do more before the day is over.
