He’s Also Got Great Things to Say

A Brand You Summit

No doubt that Phil was fun last night at Open Comments. The man has an imaginative brain. Put that same brain to work on a problem or an idea, and you’ll find he has exciting and profound things to say. You’ll get your chance tomorrow in a teleseminar that’s part of A Brand You World, the celebration of the 10th Year of Personal Branding.

Phil’s speaking on line 2 at 6pm ET/11pm UK — his topic is Identity You: Creating a Personal 5×5 Branding Strategy.

So tune in. Those of us who heard Phil’s keynote at SOBCon07 know the high value of listening in when Phil is speaking.

The A Brand You World teleseminar schedule lasts 12 hours with two parallel tracks. The list of SOBs on the venue include:

Listen in. Finding an answer you’ve been searching for is winning. Hearing someone say a truth you know is inspiring. How can you lose?

Warning: The Relationsheep Are Hosting Open Comment Night, Tuesday November 6th!!

Filed Under SOB Business, Successful Blog | 26 Comments

Will They Break the Internet?!!

The interview that RelationSheep Lisa Gates did with Phil Gerbyshak in celebration of Successful Blog’s 2nd Birthday was such a hit that when I realized I would be gone November 6th, they were the natural choice to host Open Comments that night. I asked them before a thought even breezed through my mind. That’s right.

RelationSheep: Lisa Gates and Phil Gerbyshak

RelationSheep, Lisa and Phil, Are Hosting Open Comments,
Tuesday, November 6th, 7pm Chicago Time

Then we started discussing topics . . . oh my! It’s going to be a free for all. Kids in the backyard. You know Phil’s imagination and Lisa’s sense of humor . . . add in some of the usual Tuesday night group and you can imagine what they’ll come up with.

The Topic Is

Liz Is Away — Time to Play

You know that they’re going to encourage

  • misbehavior and rowdiness
  • tree climbing and jumping on the beds
  • eating Klondike Bars instead of healthy food — Oh wait, we do that anyway . . .
  • and flamenco dancing with a code-writing donkey and a drunken moose .

I’m really sorry, I’m going to miss it. Then, you never know, I just might find a chance to check in.

So start saving your links, or better yet, why not write a post that you can bring a link to?

The Blog Herald: Information Geek Meets Relationship Geek’s Book

Information Geek in Danger?

One of the most memorable moments of SOBCon07 was Jeff Brown’s statement about Kum-ba-ya-ers and business bloggers. No matter who hears me talk about that moment, if they were there, they remember it with a grin of “ain’t it the truth?” That’s because the famous Bawldguy, Jeff, was talking about the preferences folks have toward relationships or information as their personal strong suit.

So, when the time came to talk about the book by the consummate Relationship Geek, Phil Gerbyshak, I thought, perhaps, I was not the best choice. I found the right guy up in Edmonton. He’s Greg Balanko-Dickson, and he’s a self-professed Information Geek . . .
