Silly Brain Test 2: What Color Is Your Mind?

February 22, 2008 by Liz Leave a Comment

It Ain’t Easy Being Green

You decide whether this sounds like me. . . .

Your Mind is Green

green-mind.Jpg

Of all the mind types, yours has the most balance.
You are able to see all sides to most problems and are a good problem solver.
You need time to work out your thoughts, but you don’t get stuck in bad thinking patterns.

You tend to spend a lot of time thinking about the future, philosophy, and relationships (both personal and intellectual).

What Color Is Your Mind?

Go ahead. Tell me about yours.

    Hey Liz,

Hmmm….red? OK. Red it is!!! πŸ™‚

    Your Mind is Red

Of all the mind types, yours is the most impulsive.
If you think it, you do it. And you can get the bug to pursue almost any passion.
Your thoughts are big and bold. Your mind has no inhibitions.

You tend to spend a lot of time thinking about love, your dreams, and distant places.

    Hi Tom!
There are too few questions to have this be real . . . take it again and change one answer. πŸ™‚

    Liz,

    Well, now it’s green.

Changed state of mind from calm to balanced.

    Hi Lani!
I think Blue had some lovely characteristics that went with. But as I said the test is sort of silly. πŸ™‚

    Hey Tom,
Maybe we should have a contest to see whether anyone can get five colors in five tries. πŸ™‚

    Hi Liz,

Green seems right for you. I got orange (I’m unrhymable!). πŸ˜‰

While I agree the test is silly, my results were also fairly accurate:

    Orange:

Of all the mind types, yours is the quickest.
You are usually thinking a mile a minute, and you could be thinking about anything at all.
Your thoughts are often scattered and random – but they’re also a lot of fun!

You tend to spend a lot of time thinking about esoteric subjects, the meaning of life, and pop culture.

Test came out Green for me. But that’s pretty artificial because for most of the questions I wanted to make a choice that wasn’t listed!

I would have never guessed that you would be unrhymable. So many new things I’m learning. πŸ™‚

    Hi Chris!
    Great to see you!
I found the questions pretty easy to see through, but what can they really see in five questions anyway?
    That’s why I called it silly. πŸ™‚

I so want you to meet someone, we had a speaker for WSWE ( http://www.wswe.org ) and she teaches “what color is your brain?” She wrote a delightful book about it – the conversation about brain color has been very impactful for me, more importantly I introduced her to blogging and she’s really rockin’ with it !!

    Liz.

How could you do this to me?

It sounded like fun. So I went.

I spent over an *hour* on that site.

    Just one more….just one more….

So now I’m a purpled-brained, apricot Hermit pegasus.

    And it’s all your fault!!

    How could you, Liz??????

    Hi Liz

Your ‘green mind’ link brought a treasure trove of silly, funny and sometimes crazy tests. Yesterday I had loads of fun doing several of them and what pleasant way to end the working day with πŸ˜‰

Thanks for that, from another ‘green mind’

Having a hard time finding focus?

Having a hard time finding focus?

It can be hard to find focus sometimes. A few months ago, I was talking with a colleague who was having a hard time finding focus in their work. They spoke of feeling pulled in multiple directions and of many obligations — both at work and with their family. As I listened, I could hear […]

Sometimes We Outgrow Our Stories

Sometimes We Outgrow Our Stories

The other day I was having a conversation with a friend. We were sharing stories from days gone by about each of our lives. We hopped from one story to the next — based on what each of us were sharing. It was really an incredible discussion as we were each learning from the other […]

It’s Not Your Passion, But Your Purpose

It’s Not Your Passion, But Your Purpose

Everyone feels lost sometimes. I don’t think I know anyone who hasn’t been lost in their head at one time or another β€” even those folks overachieving all over the Internet. We all find those moments that we wonder about who we are and what we want. But the question is not whether everyone gets […]

Getting Past Fear

I felt the more embarrassing fear of people’s judgment. When I decided it was time to write again, I avoided the computer for the longest time. On the rare occasion that I managed to sit myself down to write, I’d get caught up answering email or reading articles around the web, not doing writing I […]
