A Great Writer’s Words Are Always Inspiring

You’ve been busy setting up a new home, but don’t worry. You left us a chance to go back and read our favorites again. I remember the ones I read way back when, before I knew you as I do. I especially liked this one.

How to write feedback to make a connection

Didn’t realize it was foreshadowing how I might be feeling now. You’re always so present in all you do.

Hi Liz, that photo brings back fond memories! Thanks for joining in – this is now 5 posts and 5 different Joanna Young favorites. Proves your point Joanna needed to take some time out so we could do some rereading.

Hi Liz! Thanks for the welcome back – it’s very generous of all of you.

It’s funny how we got to know each other so well through our words before meeting ‘properly’ – lots of your posts are etched into my mind too.

The new ‘real’ home is fab – with lots of space for visitors! I think you’ll like it 🙂

    Hi Liz & Joanna,
I enjoyed the blog on ‘how to write feedback to make the connection.’ I’ve found that blog comments are a great way to provide feedback (yes, someone actually is reading what you put out on the web!) as well as a way to make a connection to kindred spirits.

As a freelance travel writer and blogger, I found both of your websites helpful and useful to me as a resource.

By the way, I have a new URL, http://www.nancydbrown.com/. I would love to welcome visitors to my open house.

    Hi Joanna,
I bet for you it seems like it took forever, but it sure seems like you’re there quickly!! Glad you’ve got the new home and the space. I’m imagining you in it. I see you writing and walking already.

I’ll have bring Eric over again. I’m sure he’d delight in offering you another potato.

    Much love,
    Liz

Looking at that picture of you and Liz definitely brings back wonderful memories of SOBCon08.

But even more so, it brings me the memory of us meeting for the first time – we were both early arrivals and arranged to get acquainted via lunch on I think it was Michigan Avenue in Chicago. It was great getting to know you.

Congrats on your new home. You must be excited!

    Liz,

Isn’t it wonderful to be able to give back a fraction of the benefits Joanna has lavished upon us through her blog? What a privilege it is to join together to welcome our esteemed colleague and friend back into our midst after her (thankfully) brief hiatus!
