I have a feeling John from finding the money would say “slacker king” hehe πŸ™‚

To me it’s like contemplating nature, simply beautiful landscape and seeing what mother nature is offering, which is too often overlooked. Ah i think i’ll go spend some time walking in the park tomorrow πŸ™‚

I got dizzy just looking at the photo. πŸ™‚ However, it does not releate to what I do at the moment.

I admire the person who is filling those shoes.

Also a weird thing, this photo makes me think and wish that it were my shoes. I want to be on the edge and I want to be the leader. I think Stephen Covey wrote in his book that a leader is a person who climbs the tree first and proclaims “Wrong Jungle” (very loosley paraphrased)

    Hi Carma!
I couldn’t stand there for that photo. It would bother me. πŸ™‚

That’s a great aspiration. As Dave Pollard points out aspire means to breathe toward. I think that you might be doing that. What a good thing.

Leadership is state of mind and of character. You have both. The limits you perceive are only those that you make for yourself. πŸ™‚

John, the Slacker King, would probably see that — sneakers and all. We should send him over to see his picture. πŸ™‚

What a lovely thought you take from the picture. I’d like to go walking in the park tomorrow too or maybe by the lake. πŸ™‚

    Hi Liz
Great photo. I tend to jump in with both feet and this photo makes me think of rather jumping off a cliff into an abyss that I am jumping into the lush field of life. If I stand on top of the trees I am apart from it all, above it all.

There are many ways to jump — I could play it safe and be wearing a parachute and float down slowly, deliberately yet still coming down to the field of life.

Or, I could jump and take it on faith that I will eventually land on my feet, maybe after a few tumbles in the field.

BTW, I’ll go to SOBcon anywhere it happens!

    What a great description, Ellen.
Jumping with both feet and landing on the field of life. Lovely metaphors.

It’s fun to hear people talk about these pictures — more fun here than in person, because everyone gets plenty of room to think and talk . . . and plenty of room to hear and see what’s being said before we move on to the next one. πŸ™‚

Hmm .. my Sony 46″ Rear Projection TV blew up a week ago last Thursday .. I guess that’s why I see something different.

I see a Couch Potato lying on the couch watching his new 60″ Hi-Def Plasma TV with his shoes on (and Boy! Will his wife be mad when she finds out his shoes are on the couch!) during a championship Golf Masters game .. they just panned over the course, and showed the cheering crowd.

I wonder if there was a bowl of Pringles on this person’s chest, while he’s snapping a picture of his fancy new shoelaces (by the way .. that’s the reason of this picture, to show off his new purples shoelaces, of his favorite color .. not to take a picture of the TV) .. creating more and more crumbs on the couch for his wife to clean up.

    *cough*

You don’t want to organize a conference, besides being a horrendously expensive financial risk — the work! the details! You would have to aks all of the beautiful women who follow you around to pitch in and help you with it. πŸ™‚

hehe, yeah i know, but i think a plane will be cheaper, it’s a 14-16 hours drive from Montreal to Chicago (according to google maps), and by plane it’s something like 2 hours and a half πŸ™‚ So i think i’ll take a plane. (and it’s more fun to take a plane i think πŸ™‚ )

    ah Mihaela,
So those shoes don’t relate to you? You need a good pair of “sneaker” in order to play “spy,” or else how will you go on a caper with Mike the next he makes up one? πŸ™‚

Yes the scenery does make jump seem inviting, but I’m sure I would even with safety ropes holding on to me. You are more brave than I in this situation. πŸ™‚
