that’s ez as i look outside and watch my alle (and picken) too for that matter) grazing.
When Alle took me to my first blue ribbon in my first show just last month! 🙂

GP!
A blue! Why is it that this is the first I seem to know about the ribbon?
YEA!! Boyhowdy! Woohoo! Yippee!
I’m thinking you’ll have to make a sign for the Inn that says, “Home of Award-winning horse and rider.” 🙂
Sometimes I’m too busy to make it out with friends to whatever’s going on.
Hearing “Come on man, it won’t be the same without you” always sounds good.
Someone told me today that a press release that I published this week brought their website from nowhere in the organic results to spots 6 (actual website) and 8 (press release) in Google. This is a great company with a really fun, family-friendly, happy product. He was thrilled about the results and so was I – that made me feel good about what I do.
Hey Shane!
You’re a guy to have for a friend. Wow! You appreciate the people around you. If they can make capture your attention with a “join in” comment, you must be relator and a friend folks sure enjoy being with. That it makes you feel good is cool!
Yea! Christine!
Nothing beats doing our best work for a client we care about and having it go skyward, helping that client see what they’re worth! Yeah!
Thrilling is the feeling I get too. Who wouldn’t? You just changed their world! 🙂
At home, my mom and my bf saying they are proud of me. At work, some people saying they can now feel there is someone handling marketing and PR activities.
Hi Alina!
It’s great when family is where the feeling starts. When family thinks we’re Number 1 it’s foundational. We carry that with us everywhere.
Work is way more fun when folks appreciate us. 🙂
Greetings where i’ll be hittin’ the trails before too long and it gets too hot for my picken.. .gotta get some endurance training in.:)
I thought about why you hadnt heard the “blue” news.. understated on my blog,a combination of the “it’s natural, syndrome and more importantly the feeling of “there by the grace of G-d, go I”
When I tell folks I’ve run the Mt. Baldy Run to the top, one of the oldest races in Southern California each year on Labor day, finish line at 10,000 feet (nope, that’s NOT a typo), I rarely (okay here’s an exception!) mention i’ve actually won the show out right 3 times. Same reason(s)
Going back into lurkdom 🙂

(I apologize in advance for what is going to sound like a really, really cheesy statement, but I mean it from the bottom of my heart…)
I feel that way every time I communicate with you! And by doing so, you’re showing me how to do it, too.
Hi GP!
I understand why you wouldn’t want to scream from 10,000 feet that you keep gaining glory! But a smile now and then among friends — like today — is delightfully charming. 🙂
Hi Robert!
That’s not cheesy. Sincere never sounds cheesy, only those kids from school said so and they were just afraid of having feelings.
It’s a lovely thing for you to say. I’m touched and honored by it. That I could make a friend feel that way is a beautiful thing. Thank you so much for telling me. 🙂
Thanks really.
I was a senior in High School and we needed to win a big game that was necessary for us to go on to play in the State Championship. I hit a walk off homer in the bottom of the 11th inning to win the game.
On the other hand, my 3 year old son last night came up to me and told me he loved me right out of the blue. I guess that was more of a number 1 feeling.
Wow! Jim!
The juxtaposition of events is gor-gee-ous!! Thanks for this comment. Yeah! I can’t wait to meet you.
Shucks, Jim kind of stole mine – LOL (not the baseball,[congrats btw] the family love thing)
I’ve been helping mom-in-law learn to use her new computer, and when we finished our last session, she said, “I love you, because you come and help me and don’t expect anything in return.”
The night Gorgeous said Yes!
Hey Marti!
That is one special story. Moms hardly ever get a chance to say that kind of thing, usually we’re ong the giving end. 🙂
Aren’t you the best?!!! 🙂
Chris!
You just did it in five words. Wow!
Liz, If you only knew how many bumbling words I said before we got to that point… 🙄
It’s funny, Chris, how bumbling can be romantic. 🙂
I feel like I am number one every night when I come home from work and my wife, kids, and dog meet me at the front door.
Troy!
I’m so sorry you got stuck in moderation this morning. The new upgrade . . .
Guess I didn’t make you feel like number 1. 🙁
Isn’t it amazing how much the people we love are the source of our feeling of success and worth. We value those we love, and we value their opinion. YEA!
Hi, Liz!
One example is when I helped a budding entrepreneur discover she already had everything she needed to get her candy business off the ground. 😉
(She’s #1 too, though, because she trusted and allowed me to work with her.)
Hi Dar!
I know that story! You really were Number 1 in her life. I bet she will never forget what you did to help. 🙂

Did I mention that I have four beautiful daughters 🙂
April,
You have a lovely way of introducing them. 🙂 I bet they all feel like they are Number 1. 🙂
Let me guess April, you were married in May? Just trying to figure the reason their birthdates are a little lumped together. *wink*
Anniversary celebration? Every time we had a date night my wife turned up pregnant.
Hey Jim,
That’s so funny. I went to the same place. 🙂
Hehehe…nope – my anniversary is in September. Take from that info whatever you will 😉
I have a really great response that would make you laugh, but I won’t put it here. 🙂
I think I’ve mentioned this before, but the time I broke the school record in pole vaulting (previously held by one of my idols), with my girlfriend (now my wife) and family in attendance.
Mike!
I don’t know that you have mentioned it before. But that sounds way exciting. No wonder you felt like number 1!!
