Thanks to Week 42 SOBs
ME Liz Strauss wrote this at 1:28 pm
Let me introduce the bloggers
who have earned this official badge of achievement,
Successful Blog SOBs.
I invite them to take a badge home to display on their blogs.
They take the conversation to their readers,
contribute great ideas, challenge us, make us better, and make our businesses stronger.
I thank every one of our SOBs for thinking what we say is worth passing on.
Good conversation shared can only improve the blogging community.
Should anyone question this SOB button’s validity, send him or her directly to me. This award comes with a full “Liz said so” guarantee. It is endorsed by Kings of the Hemispheres, Martin and Michael, and backed by my brothers, Angelo and Pasquale.
Want to become an SOB?
If you’re an SO-Wanna-B, you can see the whole list of SOBs and learn how to be one by visiting the SOB Hall of Fame. Click the link or visit the What IS an SOB?! page in the sidebar.

Thanks Liz, I can’t believe I’m an SOB. This will give me more incentive to work at this blogging thing.
I spent a couple of hours last night adding a page to my blog. I know some could have done it in 5 minutes. But for me and my particular theme it was quite a challenge getting all the links, header, and header photo to work with each other.
Thanks

Hi Roy!
Five minutes! Nah! I’ve never done anything on my blog in five minutes.
Congratulations. Thanks for your participations and for your honest and thoughtful insights. That’s what successful bloggers do — add value to the conversation.

Thanks for the badge of honor Liz.
May I keep this with me when I transfer to my own domain (fool45.com, without the wordpress)?
Know that you’ve inspired me like Big Roy, to keep at this blogging thing.

Rico,
Just let me know when you move and I’ll change the links so that they match where you are. You’re a member of the family now. Congratulations!

Hi Liz!
Thank you so much - my site is still fairly young, and … well, I’ll just go ahead and say watching how you interact with your readers, and all of your articles, really helped me out.
Thanks once again =)

Hi Yvonne,
See you with your blogging community, just goes to show that when you let who you are shine through wonderful things can happen and often do. I’m delighted to have you as part of Successful Blog!
Rico said
Will do Liz, thanks again!
ME Strauss said
Cool, Rico. Can’t wait. Good luck with the move.
Rico said
Funny thing Liz, after I read your comment, my friend handling the move told me everything’s done.
Now say goodbye to fool45.wordpress.com, and say hi to fool45.com!
Will get the badge on my sidebar ASAP.
But my beautiful comments! They’re all gone!
ME Strauss said
Oh Rico,
I’m so sorry. To lose your comments must be quite a blow. I hope that your blog is young enough that we’re talking only a few comments. Even so the words of readers are one reason that we write. Writers have a right to feedback . . .
I wish I knew someone to help you get them back.

It’s ok Liz, I’m sure once my readers know that I’ve moved to fool45.com, they’ll provide me feedback there.

Rumor has it that one already has, Rico.

You should see my face right now! I’m a SOB? Whellll how did I do that??? Or how dit you do that, did you have someone translate it from Dutch? Owieeee I’m soo proud. Don’t know what to say… Happy happy joy joy (picture ren and stimpy bouncing off the walls) Thank you heaps!
Rico said
Liz: Haha, I know. Just read your comment. Thanks again!
Sanne: Know how you feel.
ME Strauss said
Hi Sanne,
I think it’s only fair my readers in all languages should get to know the really good stuff.
I do have a friend or two in publishing who come from your fair land and who can read and write Dutch.
I love the “Happy, Happy, Joy, Joy” song from Ren and Stimpy. Though I’m not sure that I’m going to like having it stuck in my head all day.
I also wish I could see your face right now. But you should know I’m smiling for you. Congratulations and thank you for the way you have contributed to the conversation. I hope that you’ll keep on talking.
Liz
ME Strauss said
Well, Rico, we can’t have your new blog without comments. )
Sanne Roemen said
Sooo I’ve turned your gift to good use, bragged about it on my weblog and put the badge in the sidebar. Thanks again and sorry for putting that tune in your head! Rico, hope I’m the second one to comment on your blog!
ME Strauss said
Sanne,
It’s fine song to have stuck in my head. I’ll wait until my son gets up and give it to him . . .
Thank you again for being a great blogger.

Wow, Liz! This is too much! Thank you!
This really made my night. [Having one of those days..] I’ll make sure to post it on my blog but I am on wordpress.com. Unlike Rico, I really can’t say when I’ll be moving, however, I will sure let you know when I do.
Thanks again!

Sasha,
Where your blog is doesn’t matter. It’s where your mind and ideas are that count.

Hi Liz, Thanks a ton. This is great. I’m enjoying choosing a badge for myself
One thing I have to say, enjoyed reading lettingmebe very much…beyond all the corporate thingy I blog and read about… that is one site I love to just read, smile, and unwind…reminds me of my childhood and takes me away to a land of Enid Blyton’s. Keep it going.

Thank you Hobbithob,
And congratulations! It’s the exchange of ideas that makes this all work . . . isn’t it?
