SOBCon: Called the Most Powerful Life Changing Conference

August 24, 2011 by SOBCon Authors

Lorelle VanFossen recently gathered together quotes from SOBCon participants in “The Most Powerful Life Changing Conference Event, SOBCon, Comes to the Pacific Northwest.”

Lorelle admits that describing SOBCon is a challenge, and that the words of others tend to summarize her own feelings and experiences.

I’ve been tortured the past few weeks on how to convince you that attending SOBConNW 2011 on September 16-18, 2011, will change your life. As usual, when it comes to my favorite annual conference, I find myself wordless. It’s that profound.

If the SOBConNW Program and descriptions at the SOBCon site doesn’t convince you, maybe these people can.

If you are looking for your own words to describe your SOBCon experience, or want to know more about how SOBCon has changed and influenced the lives and online businesses of others, take a moment to read through her post.

Thanks, Lorelle, for being such a fan from the start.

Register now for SOBConNW and your own life changing experience.

SOBConNW: Portland, Oregon, Things to Do and See

August 18, 2011 by SOBCon Authors

Portland, Oregon, Credit Keith Skelton PhotoAttending SOBConNW 2011, September 16-18 in Portland, Oregon?

We’ve put together an updated list of things to do during your visit to PDX, as the locales call it.

Portland was one of the first cities in the Pacific Northwest, developed before Seattle claimed its fame as a major Northwest port and destination. While other cities spread out becoming huge metropolitan centers, due to the forethinking of its forefathers who restricted uncontrolled growth, Portland has remained its small community feel while gaining a powerful reputation as the Silicon Forest.

The Portland area is home to Nike, Digital Trends, Intel, Stumptown Coffee Roasters, TecLabs, Genentech, Autodesk, TriQuint Semiconductor, Tektronix, Mercy Corps, TAZO Tea, Stash Tea, Tec Labs, Pendleton Woolen Mills, LaCie, and Webtrends Analytics, just to mention a few.

It is also home to the famous Powell’s bookstore with the main store downtown and branches around the area, a must-visit during your stay in Portland.

Portland is also proud of its natural beauty and recreational activities. Most are easily accessible from the Courtyard Marriott Lloyd Center, our SOBCon partner hotel, via bus or metro train (Trimet), or by rental or Zip Car.

Consider adding a day or two to your trip to SOBConNW to explore “Portlandia.” For more on what to see and do around Portland, no matter what your interest, see our Things to Do in Portland page.

Lisa Petrilli Loves #SOBCon

July 25, 2011 by SOBCon Authors

Lisa PetrilliSOBCon is a truly unique and exceptional experience.

I attended my first event in 2010 and it not only opened my eyes to the power of online business, but it exposed me to a myriad of people who encouraged me to think bigger about my own business.

The people who speak at SOBCon and who attend SOBCon are leaders in their field and the kind of people who understand the power of relationships. Those I met and brainstormed with at SOBCon 2010 have come to be some of my best collaborators, partners, and even some of my best friends. The tradition continued at SOBCon 2011 where friendships made in 2010 deepened and new connections were formed.

To say that SOBCon has changed my life is not an understatement!

SOBCon is an experience – not just a conference – and an entirely new way of thinking about your business. I strongly recommend it to anyone who is passionate about growing their business, their network and expanding their life in beautiful new ways!
