Get the Picture?
Photos can often trigger an idea in a way that words cannot. That’s because photos access the right brain, where words don’t usually hang out. The fun part of using photos to get ideas is that often you’ll see in a photo different things depending on what you’re looking to write about. Here are some photos you that might get you started thinking.
All of these photos are from the stock xchng and are restriction free.
Catch the Ideas While You Can
As you look, grab a pencil and write down any ideas that come to mind. You might not need an idea right now, but you’ll have those ideas for later when you need one.
I see articles here on the price of coffee, the need to clean up our waterways, the cost of meetings to business, healthcare, the future of the Internet, the global economy, and so many more. . . .
What do you see?
I’m sure by now you have the idea about getting ideas from images. It’s all a matter of remembering that when you look, you should also be seeing.

Donââ¬â¢t Hunt IDEAS ââ¬â Be an Idea Magnet
Okay! Just let my logical brain come to a rolling stop first and let the creative side on board and run amok…
3, 2, 1 …
The last two pics: the coffee beans and the washed up flower. From a business perspective I see topics like don’t let your business rule you, don’t lose focus on the good things in life, smell the roses etc., the lifestyle entrepreneur rather than the driven entrepreneur … smell the coffee, business should be fun. reevaluate if it’s not.
The gate with the beautiful outside view: most of us are in home business. get out for a while. don’t be caged in by your business… lots of article ideas in all directions from this one.
The hand: bloggers trying to find their individual voice in a see of voices.
The hi-tech chip/motherboard: most poeple don’t understand how the internet really works, how there’s so much under the surface. Do we care? Should we care or know more?
The old man sitting by as the world passes him by: do seniors really get the internet, blogging, new media etc. Are they being left behind. Do they really want to know? etc, etc.,
The globe: looks kinda harsh, steel, a tough place: The global economy. Unsentimental.
Phew … okay that’s it for me. I’ll sumbit and read it later – now that’s true brainstorming imo, cause if I look over it now, I’ll feel a little stupid and start editing.
Martin,
I think you just demonstrated your BIG IDEA–you’re the guy who can see the possibilities in anything.
There you have it!

Thanks Liz,
Working on a fairly dry, technical job most of today, yesterday and for weeks to come it’s a real pleasure to come here and spend some few minutes letting the creative side run amok.
It’s great to have a creative guy, who comes around to spark some creative talking.
Thanks Martin, for coming. You’re always welcome.
