Door #1 please!
Why… hmm… I don’t really know. I think it looks pretty and regal and yet still inviting. I feel like I could walk through it in cute red heels or in Uggs and somehow still fit in.
Sincerely,

I’m choosing door one because it looks like gold and has lots of class!
Mihaela Lica said
Door 3 - it’s holding a dream. I am sure. There’s always magic behind jade (to me it looks like jade)
It’s amazing how many bloggers attended SOB’s birthday! You are loved!
ME Strauss said
Hi Erin!
Sounds like you’d really enjoy living around that door. I had a door I loved once . . .
ME Strauss said
Hi Robyn,
It is one classy door, a famous door too, but it’s not gold . . . it’s bronze. I think it suits you. Then folks who walk through it could use a little brain-based business.
ME Strauss said
Hi Michaela!
I like that you found a dream behind one of the doors.
It could be that they all came to the party to share their own links. I make a very good portal.
Ellen Weber said
I chose number 1 because it reminds me of the Irish castles I toured recently — and it’s full of class — but Robyn already stole that reason — when she popped through No 1 just ahead of me:-)
Hey Liz, I’m also thinking No 1’s top rate — like this blog is first rate — so it likely also wins me a car and a freezer to boot — right? OK, MAKES MY DAY and show me my car Door 1!
ME Strauss said
And behind Door 1, Ellen finds . . . a new Daimler, a KitchenAid refigerator freezer, and Kenmore washer/dryer.
Robyn said
You don’t get the car, I do, because this time I led the way and challenged you to pick!
Ellen Weber said
Cool - I knew my day would come. And I cannot think of a better place to be standing when the big prize shows up — at Liz’s cool site — with a bunch of fun, smart people!
Robert Hruzek said
Hi Liz! I pick #3 because… well, it makes me think of an ink blot. Like Mihaela, I see no clear pattern like the other doors have, so it leaves me free to find a picture of my own in the randomness.
Sortof like your post the other day about choosing your own future, I can choose where this one goes!
(Sheesh, just read what I wrote. ‘Way to deep for this hour of the morning!)
ME Strauss said
Robyn and Ellen,
Too funny . . . heck, two cars!!
Ellen Weber said
Make it three Liz … and we’ll race ya through Chicago - just to see who can turn a door and a Friday into a fun first….
ME Strauss said
Good morning, Robert!
I like what you’re seeing! (It’s okay to go deep . . . the life guards work 24/7.)
Easton Ellsworth said
Door #2, please. Symmetry and brightness.
ME Strauss said
Hi Easton!
I love the old wood. It’s beautiful!
Behind that door is the perfect babysitter.
DebMc said
Love door #2. Rich wood and a beautiful arch on the top. Classy, creative, and pretty.
ME Strauss said
Hi Debbie!
What would like to be behind that number 2 door?
Amie Gillingham said
Door two, please, because of its central placement and it looks the most like a “door” to me.
Rick Cockrum said
I’ll go for door #3. It looks like the mirror of our dreams.
What’s behind it? I don’t know. I’d rather be surprised.
Brad Shorr said
Door 1 for me. For some reason it arouses my curiosity. I must know what’s behind it!
ME Strauss said
Hi Amie!
I bet that means you can see yourself walking through it.
ME Strauss said
Rick,
Now that I think about it, I can’t imagine you choosing either of the others over that one.
Kusani said
Door number three, please!
It’s nifty, unique in appearance, and does not strike me as a normal door. In all likelihood, I’d have to circle it and poke it once or twice before going through… but go through I would!
I also like Mihaela’s thought that a dream lies behind it. I’ll take that as a ‘prize’! (But doesn’t a dream lie behind every door? It’s up to us to step through and see what kind it is.)
Number two is a close second, no pun intended. I love the beautiful wood.
Thanks for the kickstart to the day, Liz. =)
ME Strauss said
Hi Brad!
Wait until you find out what’s behind it. It could make you choose another door . . . or not.
ME Strauss said
Hi Kusani!
The dreamy door, that’s what number 3 seems to be becoming.
Brad Shorr said
Uh oh. I forgot curiosity killed the cat. Should I enter through the narrow gate?
Amie Gillingham said
Oh yeah, definitely see myself walking through Door #2. The other two just don’t speak to me as proper doorways. Portals, yeah, but nothing beats a good classic solid wood door.
Thiru said
Door 1. It looks good to me. It looks pretty expensive and the contents behind the door should also be much valuable as well.
ME Strauss said
Uh-oh Brad!
Going to walk away because of me?
ME Strauss said
Hi Amie!
What’s on the other side?
ME Strauss said
Hi Thiru!
I think that’s usually how it works. Will it work that way this time?
Amie Gillingham said
A fabulous B & B in Stratford-upon-Avon with hot tea and 2 tickets to Hamlet waiting for me on the entry table, of course!
Brooke said
Door 3: it’s fun, creative, and different!!
Mike said
Door number three; it’s a portal to a parallel dimension (or into someone else’s computer)!
Jesse Petersen said
Uh oh! I’m afraid I’m the dissenting voice in the crowd saying that I’d have to turn back down the hall and look for a 4th door. All of the above scare me one way or another.
Door 1 looks like there will be gold behind the door, which has to be a trick or trap, so I stand to lose my head from a booby trap ala Indiana Jones.
Door 2 looks good, but the tile around the edge looks like it’s the door to a bathroom, so I’d at least have to knock first.
Door 3 looks like a shower door, so unless my wife is behind there or I’m all alone, I’d better turn around and look for another door to open.
There’s my mind at work.
Welcome to my world. /laugh

Oh I like them all! But if I only get one choice and can’t come back out again then I guess door number two, truly though I would try them all.
ME Strauss said
whoa! Mike, I had no idea!
Think I should take it down?
ME Strauss said
Jesse,
I think years of playing WoW have worked their magic on you! Mystery and intrigue behind every door . . .
ME Strauss said
Hey Easy!
I can understand what you are saying. I had to like them all to offer them as choices . . .
Robyn said
I note Brad’s thinking Door 1 as well…. Great choice, Brad.
ME Strauss said
Hi Robyn,
I guess I can tell you now. Those are the doors to the U.S. Supreme Court.

Whoa said
Door Number 2.
Because it’s good to have some good wood to knock on (just in case).
ME Liz Strauss said
Great answer, whoa!
Great to see you, too!
