Questions to Get Closer to You: Question 15

Get Closer to You
This is a series of questions, I don’t know how many. They are the ones I ask when I help folks get closer to their personal identity.
We meet many people at conventions and networking events, what sort of “hello” makes a person memorable to you?
I’ll answer first to get things started.

I’ve met quite a few people in the last few days, and what I remember most is the ones who were totally present in the conversation while we were having it. They were truly interested and engaged. By nature of doing that, I was totally interested in them. The conversation naturally went to places we both enjoyed going. :)

Hi Liz
So true.
I prefer the ones who are looking for a conversation and try to avoid those looking for a ’sale’.

Liz,
Karin said it well: I prefer the ones who are looking for a conversation and avoid those who primarily seem to be looking to make a sale.
The former are curious and engaged, the last leave me feeling manipulated.

Oh Karin!
Not like you ever do that me . . . :)

Hi Tammy,
Feeling manipulated . . . and “dirty.” Yeah, me too.
