“What’s Your Most Successful Post, Liz?”

ME Liz Strauss wrote this at 9:09 am

Did You Really Think I’d Pick Just One?

The answer to the What’s yours? question that you’ve asked me is that I have two most successful posts here and one at my writing blog.

If it has to be one, my choice is a favorite child that think of as the most outstanding piece — it’s human, heartfelt, and hopeful. It still moves me when I read it.

Walking on Water

It’s the essay I offered as a prize. And, Starbucker, there is a car in it.

    Hey, TechZ,
I guess this is where I say, “You’re welcome.” But what I really mean is “thank you.” :)

How do you measure a post’s popularity ?? Is it based on Comments, Views or just popularity plugin ?

    Hi Thilak,
I use comments and views — either one. I think both are valid.

I just finished reading Walking on Water. Liz! I can see why you feel that is your most successful post.

Blogger is dodgie tonight or I’d comment over there. Reading your post reminded me of growing up and I’d saddle up one of our mares and go riding through the fields, or when I was in the Navy and I’d get on my motorcycle and ride for hundreds of miles to nowhere special, or when I lived in Florida and would go walking the beach for hours, all just to have a little solitude in a flavor I liked.

It has been years since I had an outlet like that. I miss it.

    HI Chris,
Thank you. That one is most special to me. I appreciate that you saw that and understand why. All of those things you describe tell me you heard what I was saying.

We are such social creatures, but we need our space too.
